HIGH BUILDING SPEED
Walls can be constructed in a considerably shorter time. For example, an average of a three-man crew can set 60 square metre of wall in 1 day.
ICF Walls can be assembled under severe weather conditions. Insulation and fastening strips are already incorporated.

THE HDPP INSERTS
The Klimaroc is focussed on developing, manufacturing and selling an innovative system of insulated concrete formwork used for wall construction.
It is based on two panels of Expanded Polystyrene, joined together by high density recycled PP spacers, indented on the outside by the deeper grooves in the Polystyrene. The PP inserts (a) lock both the panels in place during concrete pour (b) maintain the steel reinforcement bar securely in place (c) provide a reinforcement within the panel to fix drywall panels rapidly with scews.
Once prepared and in place, concrete is poured into the forms creating a monolithic wall with the following characteristics:
An insulation value of net of Rc 3.2
A 2-hour fire resistance,
Noise reduction of 56 DB



Advantages
Klimaroc offers structures that respect the environment, are safe, superinsulated, and permanent.
An average of a three people crew can completely set up the Klimaroc elements of an Wall, place the required steel bars and fill the elements with concrete for a structure of 60 m² in one day.
Labour costs are reduced because set-up and installation time is shorter thanks to the large dimensions and lightweight nature of our technology.
Our building blocks are 6X bigger than a standard concrete block.
The Klimaroc element’s insulation regulates hardening of the concrete.
When the weather is warm it is not necessary to add hardening additive components, or an insulated cover when the weather is cold.
The Klimaroc elements reach a higher concrete strength, since the concrete hardens within the element and is not in direct contact with the air.
The vertical grooves on the inner side of the element allow excellent bonding between concrete and polystyrene, also guaranteeing the connection of the final elements.
The shoring structure is only necessary on one side of the wall, The unique upper and lower surface of the system allows for a better anchoring between rows.
DESIGNED BY CONSTRUCTORS FOR CONSTRUCTORS
Klimaroc was designed by constructors to make faster construction possible at a price which is competitive to a traditional wall on a price per square meter comparison with higher thermal and acoustic insulative values.
A single standard element from EPS is the equivalent to 6 concrete blocks.
FURTHER ADVANTAGES :
No extra requirement to provide extra air chambers or vapour barriers to optimise the finish. The system already has this incorporated.
The system is compatible with other building systems.
It is not necessary to cut corners, 90-degree corners left and right to accommodate any design requirement.
The assembly precision in the Klimaroc elements eliminate the unnecessary cost of construction debris removal.
The superior thermal insulation value of U = 0,19 W/m2K, translates into reductions in the costs of heating and climate control.
The monolithic mass of Klimaroc walls haves a good quality sound insulation and offer a large 56 DB noise reduction.
With the Klimaroc system the only limitation in the design is the pencil.
